Frequently Asked Questions
What cuts of Beef Are in a bundle? Will I have choices of cuts?
The cuts that come from every portion of the beef are available in the various bundles; portions are the chuck, ribs, plate, short loin, sirloin, flank, brisket, round, shank, organs, and bones. The cut choices include steaks, roasts, specialty items (chicken fry, fajita, etc) ribs, brisket, offal, and ground beef. Cuts will be customized, such a thickness, weights, blend, and more to your preference.
How are costs calculated for Beef Bundles?
Quarter, Half and Whole Beef Bundles are sold by processed weight which means you pay for the beef going into your freezer. We believe you should know how much beef you are getting and only pay for that amount instead of live or hanging weight where much weight is lost in the unusable parts.
When Can I expect my Quarter, Half or Whole Beef Bundle?
Allow six to eight weeks between reserving a bundle to delivery.
How Much Beef Will I receive? How much freezer space is required?
Every order varies due to the customized cutting order and size of animal. Average weight of bundles are:
Quarter - 120-140 lbs
Half - 215-230 lbs
Whole - up to 500 lbs
Allow 1 cubic foot of freezer space to 30 lbs of beef.
