round steak in the bake

INGREDIENTS

2lbs John's Farm Organic Round Steak

1 large onion, cut in rings

2 C. Beef Broth/Bouillon (strong)

Fresh ground pepper

1/8 C flour

Olive oil

 

DIRECTIONS

Brown round steak in skillet with olive oil, approx 3-4 minutes per side. Place browned steak, single layer, in baking dish. 

Sprinkle flour over steak; place onion rings over steak. Pour broth over steak (broth should barely cover meat) Cover and bake 2 1/2 hours at 325° For more browning bake an additional 30 minutes uncovered.
