INGREDIENTS
1 lb John's Farm Ground Beef or John's Farm Ground Beef Patties
1 shaker Fairview’s Best Fine Ground Seasoning
1 shaker Fairview’s Best Coarse Ground Seasoning
1 large onion, sliced
1lb sliced mushrooms
1/4 C butter
DIRECTIONS
Use John's Farm Ground Beef to make patties or John's Farm Ground Beef Patties. Place patties on cookie sheet. Generously sprinkle patties with Fairview’s Best Fine Ground Seasoning (approx. ¾ - 1 T). Place wax paper over patties and place in refrigerator for 12-24 hours. (The Fine Ground Seasoning will serve as a marinade.)
Remove from refrigerator and allow approximately 1 hour for beef to come to room temperature. While waiting on meat to reach room temp, melt butter in kettle, add onion and mushrooms. Cook until onion is tender. Cover and allow to stand until ground beef patties are cooked.
Preheat electric skillet or grill; place patties on cooking surface; flip. Sprinkle patties with Fairview’s Best Coarse Ground Seasoning (approx. ½ T). Cook to desired doneness. (The Coarse Ground Seasoning will give a unique taste to each bite.)
To serve, top patties onion/mushroom mixture.
